Located just 20 minutes north of Lake Geneva in East Troy, Wisconsin, Lake Beulah manages to keep a lower profile than Geneva and Delavan lakes. Lake Beulah is 812’ deep and has a maximum depth of 58’. Considerably more affordable than Geneva Lake, “Beulah” as locals call it, has all of the advantages of an all-water-sport lake plus water conservancy areas perfect for bird-watching and kayaking. The town of East Troy is charming. The town square is the site of weekly farmers’ markets in summer and is flanked by several cafes and restaurants, including 2894 Main Street and East Troy Brewery. Not to be missed is The Elegant Farmer, a combination apple orchard and pumpkin farm serving its famous Apple Pie in a Bag. Be sure to ride on the East Troy Electric Trolley, a vintage train sure to delight children of all ages.
