If you have never used it, the detail worth internalizing is the private pier. The Village Supper Club welcomes guests by boat, which turns a Thursday dinner from a car trip into a twenty-minute cruise across the lake. Family owned for 37 years, the restaurant was rebuilt and completed in 2023, so the room is newer than the institution.

The Lookout Bar & Eatery at 2400 Geneva Street runs live music into the late evening on summer Saturdays. Carson Hall performed a 9 p.m. to midnight set here on the June Lakefest weekend, which is the format the room defaults to on peak Saturdays.
Inn Between Bar & Grill, tucked off N. Shore Drive right at the water, is the quiet counterweight. It is the room to book when you want to hear the person across the table.
The Duck Inn is worth naming because it is not on the lake and it does not try to be. The historic supper club takes its name from the Prohibition era, and it is where you go when the water side of the lake feels too full.
The Bandshell Runs Later Than You Think
Here is the schedule most residents underestimate. The Friends of the Phoenix Park Bandshell at 111 E Wisconsin Street run free, open-to-the-public concerts well past the school-year cutoff.

The family-run kitchen at 2484 County Rd O South cooks on a wood-fire grill and oven, and the dining room is open Wednesday through Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m., with select Sunday brunches from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The date to underline: the current summer service runs through September 6, 2026. If a wood-fire tasting menu is on your late-summer list, the window closes on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. After that, the schedule shifts to pop-ups and special events. The father-and-sons team sources locally and treats the room as farm-to-table rather than supper club, which makes it the useful counterprogramming to a Village Supper Club or Waterfront night.
Where the Resort Fits
Lake Lawn Resort, established 1878, holds two miles of Delavan Lake shoreline and runs a full calendar of golf, spa, dining, and lake events. For residents, the resort is most useful as the fallback venue when a family visit needs a rainy Saturday plan or when the Ladies' Day Luncheon in September becomes the anchor for a girlfriends weekend.
