April Events

Children kindergarten age and younger are invited to join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.  

  • Hunting begins promptly at 11:15 at out Lake Geneva Store
  • Located at 100 E Geneva Square.  

Come in early to register and take pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Stinebrink's Annual Easter Egg Hung

Come Join us and support Sharon Chamber of Commerce for our 2nd annual Easter Event.

  • Goodland Memorial Park 
$5 per Child for the first 100 Children guarantees your child a goodie bag and a photo with the Easter Bunny with your personal camera.
We will have designated areas divided by age groups and children will turn in collected eggs to receive a goodie bag and have the option to take a photo with the easter bunny with your camera.
 
We have made some suggested modifications and have added bigger golden egg ticket prizes this year!

Easter Egg Hunt will be held in conjunction with the 19th Annual Lyons Fire Department AUCE Pancake Breakfast.

Lyons Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Day Activities

Join us on Easter Sunday, April 5, for an Easter Egg Hunt and Easter activities. Photos with the Easter Bunny are available too! 

10am | Color Your Own Easter Basket | Complimentary

Color and decorate your very own Easter basket, just in time for the egg hunt.

12pm | Easter Egg Hunt | Complimentary  

Located on the Spa Lawn. Photos with the Easter Bunny are available too! Reservations are open for the egg hunt. Open to resort guests and brunch attendees

2pm | Build a Buddy | $30

Create a new furry friend from a variety of options! 

4pm | Design Your Own Easter "eggs" | $5

All of the fun and none of the mess when you create four of your own eggcelent master pieces with our lifelong eggs. 

4pm | DIY Birdhouses | $15

Spring is here and the birds are singing. Welcome birds to your home by building and painting your own birdhouse.

Reservations are required for all activities. 

Easter Day Activities

Donate blood at the YMCA on Monday, April 20th from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. All donors will receive a certificate for a pint of Culver's custard! Please bring a photo ID and make sure to eat & drink plenty before your donation. Call RRVBC at 815.965.8751 to schedule your appointment. Walk-ins welcome and will be accommodated as schedule allows. RRVBC is the only blood supplier of blood for your Mercyhealth Hospital

Community Blood Drive

Join us at Yerkes Observatory for an Open House! We'll have telescopes on the South Lawn, presentations, food, and educational activities for you and your family. Each event has a unique theme and activities, making it a exciting, exploratory experience each time! April's theme is Earth Day!
  • The open house will take place rain or shine.
  • This does not include use of telescopes within the building.
  • Reservations are required.
  • Tickets for this event cost $5 per child and $10 for adults and are available online only.
The main change is related to parking: instead of trolleys transporting guests to and from Williams Bay School, guests will park on-site at the observatory. This also means fewer tickets will be available for each open house, though we are planning to host several more open houses throughout 2026.
